If you're staying in Destin, you're only a short drive away from the boat...Okay, so maybe it's not such a short drive, but it's a nice drive...All right, so it's not even really a nice drive, but it's only an hour...maybe an hour and a half, depending on traffic. But if you consider it part of the overall dive experience, then it might not seem so bad.
As of this posting, no dive shops are going to be making runs to the Oriskany, so if you want to stay in Destin, make sure you have transportation to get to Pensacola. Make it easy on yourself and check into an afternoon trip so you don't have to get up so early.
