Professional Divemaster Services
Maybe you have your own boat down and would like a personal Divemaster to show you around to the Oriskany and the other great spots we have along the Gulf. If that's the case, I'd be happy to offer my services.
Aside from all the serious stuff like being your lifeguard, medic, guide, and safety diver, as a professional Divemaster, it's my job to make sure you have a safe, comfortable dive. It's also my job to laugh at your jokes, attest to any lies you tell, and to exaggerate your spearfishing and diving prowess.
Over beers after the dive, I'll tell the girls how you risked your life to do something heroic--like saving an entire Girl Scout troop from ferocious sharks just as you ran out of air. And for you women, I'll make sure the guys know just how easy it was for you to pull all three bands on the speargun and wrestle the monster Cobia, all the while looking hot while saving a troop of Boy Scouts from even more ferocious sharks before you even came close to running out of air.
If you're taking pictures, I'll personally guarantee you won't take a bad one since it's my responsibility to take the blame for all the blurry shots and backscatter. "The 'Divemaster Extraordinaire' must've taken that one," has been the explanation of choice for U/W photogs for years, and I'm happy to continue this tradition with you.
If you decide to invite me aboard, I'll plan the whole day for us, so we can maximize the bottom time and see everything we can during the dives. After 20 years of diving these waters, I know which wrecks have the best chances for fish, sightseeing, and photo ops. I'll even build in a little time if you want to stop off at an isolated beach before heading in for the day. Professional Divemaster Fee: $50 per diver for up to two dives or $300 per day for group rate.
